How to File a DMCA Notice

To file a DMCA notice with ModDoom, please provide a written communication containing the following information:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed or, if multiple works are claimed, a representative list of such works.
  2. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and its location on the website (include URLs or descriptions sufficient to permit ModDoom to locate the material).
  3. Your contact information including your full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. A statement by you, the complainant, asserting that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

  6. Your physical or electronic signature (or the signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner).

Removal of Content

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, ModDoom will review the complaint and, if necessary, remove or disable access to the infringing content. We will make a good faith effort to notify the party who posted the content about the complaint, so they have the opportunity to respond.

If you believe that the content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a written counter-notification to our designated DMCA agent with the following information:

  1. Identification of the content that was removed or to which access was disabled.

  4. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside the United States, for any judicial district in which ModDoom may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original infringement notification or their agent.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.
